PRIVATE E-Bike Tour of Kyoto's West Gems (6hrs)

What you'll do

West Gems of Kyoto – On an E-Bike Tour 🚴‍♂️✨

Golden temples, local markets, and off-the-beaten-path beauty—discover western Kyoto a fun and informative guide.

📝 Overview

This scenic ride rolls through the calmer side of Kyoto, offering a peaceful mix of historic temples, lively shrines, and quiet backstreets. From the spiritual to the scenic, this tour gives you the full Kyoto experience—on two wheels and without the crowds.

🌄 Scene Setting

We start by slowly making our way all the way across town to the most famous Bamboo Grove of Arashiyama. It's a special moment when you walk through this wooded path and we take time to explore the village while we are there too. Then it's on to our next major stop at Ryoanji, with its world-famous Zen rock garden that somehow says more with silence than words ever could. Between each landmark, we cruise along quiet, leafy streets—perfect for soaking in the local atmosphere.

Then it’s time for the crown jewel—Kinkaku-ji, the Golden Pavilion, one of the most iconic (and photogenic!) temples in Japan. The shimmering gold leaf, mirrored perfectly in the still pond below, is a true “wow” moment.
