After meeting at our Kyoto Fun office—a quiet corner nestled within the geisha district—we’ll share a quick slideshow intro to Gion's fascinating legacy. From there, we set out under the soft glow of lanterns toward of final goal Yasaka Shrine, where centuries of prayers have echoed beneath the trees.

The dramatic Yasaka Pagoda rises ahead, casting long shadows as the sky darkens. We continue into Gion’s maze of alleyways—where you may catch a fleeting glimpse of a geisha or maiko on her way to an engagement.
